Decarbonization is the process of significantly reducing or eliminating carbon dioxide and other GHG emissions that result from human activity. The pathway to decarbonization can vary sector by sector due to the differences in processes and materials in different industries. MEII is committed to decarbonization through biofuels, carbon capture/sequestration, and chemical energy conversion to name a few.
