“Co-Creating Possible: Driving Innovation in Semiconductor Manufacturing”
Abstract: Semiconductors underpin nearly every advanced technology and semiconductor manufacturing is one of the fields where science and engineering come together in very practical ways. In this presentation, Adivikolanu will cover how SkyWater is playing a key role in semiconductor manufacturing and Co-Creating Possible. Adivikolanu will also discuss his career journey from UMD into advanced semiconductor manufacturing field that supports modern and evolving technologies.
Bio: Dr. Sudhakar Adivikolanu is a Sr. Vice President at SkyWater Technology focused on Supply Chain, Procurement and Information Technology. Adivikolanu’s role encompasses all elements necessary to excel customer delivery performance goals, achieve supply chain excellence and resiliency and set a strong IT foundation to support both enterprise growth and next generation smart manufacturing.
Over the last 30+ years Adivikolanu had several accomplishments in managing complex and global supply chains, architecting and implementing digital transformations in various semiconductor, high tech and manufacturing environments. Adivikolanu has previously been in leadership positions at Skyworks, Maxim/Analog Devices, SanDisk/Western Digital and i2/BlueYonder that were focused supply chain management and manufacturing IT execution/transformations. He has authored several publications in advanced process control with applications in semiconductor manufacturing, and several presentations at industry conferences.
Adivikolanu holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India. He also received a Doctorate and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering/Institute for Systems Research from the University of Maryland at College Park.
